Laurence gLUCK
Co-founder of the GFF, Larry’s life and career were deeply rooted in the communities where he lived and worked. After attending Queen College and St. John’s University School of Law, he practiced law for many years before founding Stellar Management. Throughout his career, Larry remained committed to giving back to local communities, including supporting efforts to preserve and beautify Fort Tyron Park in Inwood. His dedicated to community and helping others continues to shape the work of the GFF today.
Sandra Gluck
A born-and-bred New Yorker, Sandi is a passionate supporter of her local community and the arts, particularly theater. She has been a dedicated patron of Ronald McDonald House for more than 20 years and supports organizations helping those affected by illness and working to eradicate disease. An advocate for the autism community, Sandi also serves on the board of Pawsability, which provides vocational training and career support for autistic and neurodivergent individuals.
Amanda Gluck
A lifelong New Yorker, Amanda has been involved with the GFF since its inception, building on a history of community service that began at local soup kitchens and food pantries and continued through her time at Syracuse University. Her career in New York City real estate has further strengthened her connection to the communities the GFF serves. She currently sits on the boards of the Hudson Square Business Improvement District and ALS United Greater New York, supporting both local initiatives and those affected by ALS.
Dana Twomey
A native New Yorker, Dana’s commitment to giving back began with an early passion for environmental issues. She earned a B.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, with a concentration in Environmental Sociology, followed by a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University. Today, Dana continues her charitable work in New York City, with a particular focus on environmental causes. She is the co-founder of Daise, a UPF rated clothing line that re-imagines sun-protective clothing with natural fibers and modern silohouettes.
Heather Gluck
Heather is a writer and editor from New York City. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Columbia University. She works in magazine publishing and is passionate about funding programs that address hunger, child welfare, and arts and culture.
